If you having difficulties installing Object store in your PC, you need remove the object store folder from the registry keys before re-installing the Object store. Follow the steps below:
1. Completely remove all the ODI* directory you found in your C: drive 2. Run Regedit 2. Back up the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE registry keys 3. Search for "ObejctStore" and "ODI" and then delete them 4. Reboot your machine 5. Check if there are ObjectStore's processes below running via Task manager ? Stop them if they are running. - osserver.exe - oscmgr6.exe 6. Run the installation package again from the command line prompt: first change (using cd command) to the directory where the setup.exe is and then copy ‘setup.exe -zlogfile~C:\ostore.log’ without the quote to the command prompt ie. C:\Installers\Ostore\Win_32_VS_2005>setup.exe -zlogfile~C:\ostore.log end of the steps
